Real Madrid Youngster Exit Rumour

Youngster still wants Madrid star amidst exit rumours

Real Madrid youngster Endrick is keen to remain at the club despite reports stating that the Spanish side are considering sending him out on loan.

Endrick, who recently turned 19, played a bit-part role under former head coach Carlo Ancelotti, and with the arrival of Xabi Alonso, it remains to be seen whether he will get more minutes.

However, Los Blancos have been active in the market, so many think he needs a move away from the club to get playing time, as game time might be difficult for him due to the limited spots in the squad.

After a trophyless campaign, fans of the club are optimistic that the era of Alonso will return them to glory as they continue to get their Real Madrid tickets ahead of the new season.

Real Madrid open to Endrick loan

Real Madrid are considering sending Endrick out on loan to ensure his development isn’t stalled, but the talented forward is keen to stay at the Bernabéu, aiming to emulate the path of Vinícius Júnior, a source revealed to ESPN Brasil.

Madrid paid €72 million for 16-year-old Endrick to sign him from Brazilian club Palmeiras in 2022. He did not complete his move until he turned 18. It was a similar pattern with other Brazilians, Vinicius and Rodrygo, in the Real Madrid squad

In Endryk’s first season, he played just 847 minutes under Carlo Ancelotti, and it was in the Copa del Rey that he showed his goalscoring instinct with five goals in six games.

Endrick arrived the same summer as French star Kylian Mbappé, who was deployed down the centre in his debut season for Madrid. That move left Endrick with limited minutes, and when he was not available, Endrick barely had a look-in.

Due to how that went last season, a source informed ESPN that Brazil head coach Ancelotti has Endrick in his plans for the 2026 World Cup, but the former Real Madrid head coach wants the 19-year-old striker to play regularly to aid his development.

Following discussions between the board and technical staff, Real Madrid has concluded that sending him on loan to another LaLiga side would be the most suitable path, allowing him to gain consistent minutes and better acclimate to the demands of Spanish football.

With Gonzalo Garcia’s impressive showing at the FIFA Club World Cup, Alonso was convinced about his profile as to that of Endrick, who will now need to move this summer.

“I’m counting on all three of them,” Alonso said about Endrick back in early July. “Endrick is recovering, but of course, we’re counting on him. We’re not planning the squad [for next year], just looking for immediate performance. We’ll make decisions later.”

Endrick’s future remains up in the air, but a source has emphasised that Real Madrid’s openness to a potential departure shouldn’t be mistaken for confirmation that the Brazilian starlet will exit the club this summer. Endrick’s injury and not fitting into Alonso’s formation are other factors to be considered.

Endrick, who is expected to be back in September, will try to convince Alonso that he deserves a place in his team. Endrick’s ultimate decision may be heavily influenced by the upcoming 2026 World Cup, scheduled for next summer.

Meanwhile, the future of Rodrygo, which still remains unresolved at Madrid, could be important in determining whether Endrick gets to stay or move out on loan.

Transfer insider shares insight into Rodrygo’s future

“I’m told that the situation has not changed as of today,” Fabrizio Romano said back in June.“So firstly, Arsenal love Rodrygo. When I say Arsenal, it’s about the management, it’s about the coach, Mikel Arteta.

“They consider Rodrygo as a fantastic player, a dream target as a winger, also because they believe that Nico Williams is impossible to reach this summer.

“So for Rodrygo, he remains a strong name for sure in the list at Arsenal. But at the moment, as I always told you, the only way to make the Rodrygo deal happen and to start thinking about the financials, the salary, the transfer fee and all the rest, is Rodrygo himself.

“The only way is if Rodrygo goes to Xabi Alonso and tells him at some point now – in one week, in two weeks – ‘I want to leave the club’. So is Rodrygo deciding? If he decides to go to Arsenal, the doors of this deal to negotiate could be open, but at this moment, Rodrygo still didn’t say anything to Xabi Alonso.

“So about leaving the club, about leaving Real Madrid, and Real Madrid will not inform Arsenal on any fixed price until they don’t have any communication from Rodrygo.”

However, Fabrizio has given a fresh update on the matter, stating the player will discuss with the club once again.

“I’m told, also in this case, it’s still early stages. Rodrygo has to speak to Real Madrid again in the next few days, decide whether he wants to go or stay, and get a final price, likely to be over €100m (£86m) at the start of talks. It’s not an advanced deal now.”

“It is the start of an era”

“It’s the start of an era,” Xabi Alonso said during his unveiling as new Real Madrid head coach at Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground back in May.

“The Real Madrid fans are excited to begin this new era, to grow, and to make the history of this club even greater. It’s a special day. It’s a day I will have marked in my calendar for life. I am very happy to be here, in what I feel is my home,” he added.

“We have fantastic players, we have a team that has a lot of potential, [capable of] a very good present and a very good future.”

“That gives me a lot of reason to come here with a lot of energy and a lot of hope that I can get the best out of all the players and build a great team.

“[I have] the conviction that we can achieve big things, worthy of Real Madrid, worthy of all these European Cups, of all these accomplishments made over so many years. I want a team that transmits emotion, energy, ambitious play, and connects with the fans.”
